Fitna is a short film produced by a Dutch politician Geert Wilders, it was released on the 27th of March on the internet because the Dutch TV channels refused to broadcast it. The film explores Qur’anic motivation for terrorism, Islamic universalism, and Islam in the Netherlands.
The film starts with verses from the Quran linked to video clips of Imams stating Islamic teaching, violent actions done in the name of Islam, including major terrorist attacks. It ends with a call for action from Wilders to defeat ‘Islamic ideology’, comparing it with Communism and Nazism.
