The Choir of the United World College of the Atlantic recently completed its weeklong performance tour in the beautiful country of Poland.
Led by conductor Brian Noyes, the Choir is made up of forty Atlantic College students from seventeen different countries. For their tour of Poland the choir began rehearsing over twenty songs at the end of September, not an easy feat as many of the songs were not in English!
The Choir travelled to Poland on 28th February, performing and giving concerts in churches and places such as the residence of the British Ambassador and the British School in Warsaw, and St Mary’s Basilica in Krakow. The Choir also broadcasted several songs live on Polish Radio 3 to over 1.2 million listeners (www.polskieradio.pl)
The Atlantic College Tour Choir would like to extend their gratitude to all the members of UWC Poland for assisting in the organisation of the tour, and particularly Marta Reich. Grateful thanks also to the British Ambassador to Poland, and UWC Poland for their support and sponsorship of the tour.
