What do India, Italy, UK, Canada, USA, Turkey, Malaysia, Japan, Nepal, Botswana, Slovakia, and China have in common?
This year’s Food Festival showcased a variety of delights ranging from the Canadian’s classic pancakes with maple syrups to the arguably spicy momo’s of Nepal. So long as you had £1, a paper plate and a brave set of taste buds, you would have been able to acquire a taste of these various flavors from around the globe. A horde of students spent their Sunday afternoon filling up the dining hall and going ‘what is this?’ and taking whatever was in sight even before the cooks themselves had the chance to provide an explanation. This was all provided that you managed to get there before every last scrap of food disappeared.
Kudos to the organizers and cooks who made this event as superb as it was. Food festival 2015 here we come!
This time, with bigger plates.
